Nestled in the heart of Silverthorne, Colorado, AYAHUASCA FOOD BAR LLC brings the vibrant and rich flavors of Peruvian cuisine to local food lovers and adventurous eaters alike. This restaurant offers an authentic taste journey to Peru through its thoughtfully crafted menu, featuring beloved staples that reflect the soul of Peruvian cooking.
From the moment you dig into the Pollo A La Brasa, a perfectly marinated rotisserie chicken cooked to crispy, juicy perfection, you know you’re in for something special. Each bite bursts with deep, smoky spices after marinating for 24 hours, paired beautifully with golden French fries and a luscious crema de aji that adds just the right amount of creamy heat. For those craving a snack with a punch, the Salchipapa offers crispy fries tossed with savory sausages and a variety of signature Peruvian sauces—cream of aji, mayo, ketchup, golf sauce, and ranch—that create a playful flavor explosion in every forkful.
Dessert and drinks are no less enticing. The Tres Leches Peruano is a cloud-like sponge cake soaked in a trio of milks—evaporated, condensed, and fresh—topped with a delicate and airy Oporto Merengue. It’s indulgence in its purest form, creamy and decadently sweet without ever feeling heavy. Or try the Alfajores, a luscious treat you won’t soon forget.
At AYAHUASCA FOOD BAR, the ambiance complements the cuisine perfectly. While seating is limited, the cozy, casual food truck vibe invites guests to savor their meals outside or enjoy a leisurely picnic nearby—an experience many diners rave about, especially on warm, sunny days by the local creek.
Customer reviews reflect a genuine excitement and appreciation for this culinary gem. First-timers praise its authenticity and flavor depth; one visitor shared, “Thanks for the recommendations as it was the first time we have had Peruvian food and we enjoyed everything.” Another customer was thrilled to see true Peruvian fish ceviche arrive in Summit County, describing it as “delicious” and a flavorful introduction to new spices and textures.
Whether you’re a Peruvian food aficionado or discovering this rich cuisine for the first time, AYAHUASCA FOOD BAR LLC delivers an unforgettable experience marked by bold flavors, generous portions, and a sincere passion for sharing Peru’s culinary legacy. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone eager to explore vibrant, soulful dishes that stay with you long after the last bite.

Me and my friend went for lunch around 1:30pm. I love sharing about my culture and I have heard the food was legit! We ordered a “Lomo Saltado” and a “Arroz Chaufa”. We waited a little bit, completely understandable since this isnt a fast food restaurant. They have limited sitting if you want to eat there, but it was a very hot day and we decided to walk nearby, to the creek and setup a picnic, where there was shade. The food was reaaaaaally good! The portions were generous, totally the peruvian way! The rice was cooked to perfection! We had “chicha morada” for drinks and it tasted just like home!! So yummy!!! I will definitely come back soon and bring more people!! I even got an “alfajor” for desert! Such a treat!!

We had a great meal consisting of the Ceviche and the fried rice. Portions were good and the flavor was outstanding. We will definitely make this a regular spot when we crave Peruvian cuisine. This tops the Peruvian restaurants in the Denver area.

I am so excited to see Peruvian food finally came to Summit County. The true fish ceviche did not disappoint. I prefer it hot spicy but always start with medium heat when trying a new restaurant. I like it hot and next time I know to order it hotter, but it was still DELICIOUS. The fried chicken and rice had amazing consistency and incredible flavor. Highly recommend!! You can take the food to go, or go sit inside Thirsty Pika and treat yourself to a beer or cocktail while you eat delicious food!!
